News Open Network Labs Now Accepts Applications For its Seed Accelerator Program’s 8th Batch

Open Network Lab, Inc. (Onlab) begins accepting applications for the 8th Batch of Seed Accelerator today.

Seed Accelerator is an incubation program that provides a three-month mentorship with seed funding and office space for entrepreneurs aiming to create, grow and succeed their business globally. The selected teams will receive mentorship and advice from experienced engineers, entrepreneurs and investors from both Japan and overseas.

In addition to its existing co-working spaces in Daikanyama (Tokyo) and Zaimokuza (Kamakura), Digital Garage will add the new San Francisco co-working space “Digital Garage San Francisco” as one of the office space options for Seed Accelerator teams in January 2014, when the 8th Batch begins. The new co-working space is expected to become an operating center for teams aiming to expand their businesses into the U.S. market. Onlab also plans to bring more mentoring opportunities with Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
A selected number of Onlab startups who are currently based in the U.S. will attend the Digital Garage San Francisco’s opening event “The New Context Conference 2013 San Francisco” as presenters on November 5 and 6, 2013.

Applications for Seed Accelerator’s 8th Batch will be accepted until Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 12pm (in JST). The program is scheduled to kick off in January 2014.
