Friday, October 2, 2015: Open Network Lab hosted its 11th Batch Demo Day for its Seed Accelerator Program in its office in Tokyo.
7 teams (including one team that did not present in the previous Demo Day) gave impassioned pitches to Japanese and overseas VCs and business leaders.

Current news publishers take approximately 90 minutes after an incident, accident, or disaster to start reporting on it. Spectee is a real-time publishing platform that aims to shorten the time it takes to report on information by curating video and images posted on social media, and then analyze and sort the information using artificial intelligence. |

A monthly subscription rental service for jewelry and accessories. With just 2,500 yen, users can freely rent three items, which can be exchanged anytime. Users can pick from 18 brands and over 500 items that are registered. The team hopes to further expand by targeting all fashion accessories beyond jewelry in the future. |

Along with providing personalized programming information and news, Codenews solves all the issues with current similar sites including poor user interface. Future plans include supporting multiple languages beyond English such as Spanish, Chinese, and French to globalize the service. |

Qangaroo is a test management tool for web development. To prevent issues that often occur during developing a test process, Qangaroo offers functions such as realtime status management, template tests, and matching of test specifications and the actual test. Currently 95 companies have registered to use the alpha version of the service with high satisfaction rates. Leadvise will continue to iterate its product and grow its customer base. |

Hacker Analytics is a recruitment tool for developers. The service analyzes GitHub and other technical services and visualizes the technical skills of developers. Not only does it take an enormous amount of time and money to effectively find talented engineers, it is even more difficult for recruiting companies that do not have technical background or knowledge to find talented engineers. Hacker Analytics plans to become the LinkedIn for engineers. |

Dragonfly Pay allows for easy and cheap money remittance by converting real currency into digital tokens using the blockchain technology. This team is trying to solve the issue of high transfer fees for international remittance. |

asQme is an AMA platform where users asks their favorite bands and artists questions, and artists respond to the most popular questions via video. With its team well-versed in the music industry, asQme has gathered major artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Deadmau5. asQme plans to expand by adding new artists and eventually adding new categories. |

Although it was difficult to choose the best out of many great services. In the end, the realtime information publishing service Spectee, subscription based jewelry rental service Sparkle Box, and engineer-focused news curation platform Codenews were chosen as award recipients.

Open Network Lab is currently applications for the 12th Batch of its Seed Accelerator Program.
The Seed Accelerator Program is a short term, intensive program designed to help grow startups that wish to expand their business globally. Teams will be evaluated and carefully selected based on promising business plans, strong technical skills, and entrepreneurship spirit. Selected teams will receive funding and mentorship from specialists, experienced engineers, and successful entrepreneurs to further their business. Various facilities including office space will also be provided.
